Our Mission

Platypus Gaming brings board games to many more new families and Juneau. We also hope to introduce experienced families and individuals to new and exciting games or simply some they might not have played. Most importantly though we hope to create a fun community centered event where we can all have a blast together.

What We've Achieved

  • Held four hugely successful conventions with around 600 attendees each year

  • Gotten support from multiple local businesses to improve the Platypus-Con experience.

  • Acquired an extensive game library with games ranging from kid to adult and from experienced to gateway games.

  • Obtained Non-Profit Status so that all proceeds go to making the convention better year after year.
